House Extensions

We will help you plan, design and build your

house extension.

We design and build home extensions for customers in Bristol. Our experienced trusted team uses a combination of traditional and modern building methods, including various lifestyle technologies such as underfloor heating, wifi,
and intelligent lighting.

There are three main stages when carrying out an extension project.

Concept

We will meet with you to discuss your extension aspirations, living space requirements, and your vision of the type of extension you are looking to have.

We will provide honest, professional and straightforward advice about the possibilities.

Then if applicable following up with a detailed quotation.

Design

Once you have accepted the quotation, we will explain fully our typical process of working
and staged payments.

We then create a design
and/or sketches to help you visualise your new extension. During this stage, we work closely with you to decide materials, fixture and fittings. We provide sensible and experienced guidance through this stage.

Build

We will undertake all aspects of the extension build from start to finish.

You will have a project manager who will be your main point of contact throughout the whole build process.

This will help ensure that you are not only delighted with the end result of the extension, but also our service throughout the building process.

Different types of extensions

We put together the most common types of extensions. Everything we build is bespoke to a customers space, living requirements and overall budget for a project. We thought it would be helpful to describe the different types of extensions clients typically have.
  • Single Storey Extension

This type of extension is probably the most common in the UK. A single storey on one floor, typically at the rear of a property, can either create a new room or extend on from an exiting extension.

  • Double extension

The main advantage of having a double extension is that you can expand your overall living space on the ground floor with a new bedroom above.

  • Wrap extension

As the name would suggest, this type of extension wraps around the rear and side of the property creating an L-shaped extension.

This type of extension helps you to maximise living space.

  • Side extension

A side-return utilises the space between your rooms and boundary fence or wall. This type of extension typically allows you to extended the lounge or kitchen space within your property.

Out of all the extension options potentially available this is generally the smaller and most cost-effective option.
